JV Architecture JV Architecture is an Architectural Consultancy based in Surrey & Hertfordshire, providing architectural design services primarily in the Commercial sectors.

Set up by Stuart Judd & Simon Vallance in 2017 on the strength of their combined architectural experience in Retail, Commercial, Leisure, Education & Residential sectors.

Simon has over 35 years’ experience in the Architectural industry, beginning his career working on Residential projects, primarily Sheltered Housing and Starter Homes. A long period in the Leisure sector saw him work on numerous Sports Facilities, Leisure Pools and Commercial Health Clubs for major UK operators, as well as Entertainment venues – Bars, Nightclubs and Restaurants in the UK and throughout Europe.

Stuart's Architectural experience covers 20 plus years, with knowledge built within the Retail, Education, Leisure and Residential sectors. A large proportion of his working knowledge gained from Residential conversions, extensions and new builds.

Simon & Stuart have a huge amount of experience with Sainsbury’s Supermarkets, managing the rollout of the Locals convenience store concept, delivering over 500 projects throughout the UK.  Together they also provided architectural design services for an Australian retailer on the implementation and rollout of Smiggle stationery stores throughout the UK and Ireland, launching over 70 stores in the first two years.

JV-A remain involved in the retail sector, but have also managed recent projects in Education, Commercial Offices, Restaurants and Residential.
